As from the 12th of September 2011 Transship Bulk have started implementation of a new Safety and Quality Management System developed in close collaboration with ABS Maritime Services (Hellas) LLC. It took almost eleven months of joint efforts of ABS Maritime Services (Hellas) LLC and our Safety & Quality department to develop modern and efficient management system which duly addresses today's needs of maritime shipping business paying primer attention to safety, environmental protection and quality of the services rendered to customers.
The external ISM audit has been carried out by the ABS on 15th of February 2012. As a result Interim Document of Compliance has been issued on behalf of the Republic of Malta. Initial ISM audit has been successfully passed on 4th of Septmeber 2012 and full term Document of Compliance was issued by ABS.
On 26 Septemeber 2012 upon completion of Initial Quality Audit by ABS Class Transship Bulk Management System was found to be in compliance with the Safety and Quality requirements of ABS Guide for Marine Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy Management, as applied to operation of bulk carriers.
On 13th November 2012 after successful completion of ISO 9001 Initial Audit Transship Bulk Quality Management system was found to be in compliance with requirements of ISO 9001:2008. As a result ABS Quality Evaluations issued Certificate of Conformance.
On 10th November 2015 Transship Bulk has successfully passed 3-year re-certification audit for the quality standard ISO 9001:2008. The audit was carried out by ABS Quality Evaluations, world-leading certification body. The Company policy is to continuously improve its performance and enhance sustainability in order to meet the expectations of the customer. Therefore, Company have commenced gap assessment and revision of the management system for upgrade to the revised quality standard ISO 9001:2015.
